Long-Term Running Goals:
I would like to eventually break 1:30:00 in the half marathon.
Running Role Model:
Desi. I admire her mental strength with running, which shows by how she trusts herself and she trusts her plan and training. I always think back to the 2016 Olympic Trials when she stuck with her race plan, even when the leaders surged ahead and she was running by herself. She also seems like she has a fantastic sense of humor and is a good friend (like when she hung back with Shalane during the Boston Marathon).
Fun Facts:
I love playing board games
I could eat pizza every day of my life (seriously, best food ever)
I climbed Kilimanjaro in 2019 (and I would like to climb a 20k+ footer at some point in my life)
