Sub 2:50 marathon & place well in Masters Events
Running Start:
I started running in my 20s in medical school. I was previously a competitive figure skater for 18 years, through college, so when I moved to Chicago for medical school I needed some sort of activity to replace the figure skating. Running was the thing I could most easily fit around my schedule.
Fun Facts:
I have 4 kids and have gotten faster after each one.
Sushi and a glass of red wine is my favorite pre-race meal (the night before obviously).
I often (most of the time) listen to classical music when I run.

Solo or With Friends?:
Both! I like my alone time but also like running with others.
Summer or Winter?:
Fall and early winter. I hate hot weather.
