"I ran my first 5k during my junior year of college. After that race, I vowed to never run that far again in my life. It was a terrible experience that I had not prepared myself for. I dabbled in running for the next five years, but it wasn’t until I started training with Dan that I realized what I had been doing wrong all along. From executing goal-specific workouts to maintaining proper nutrition, Dan helped me realize what it took to be a consistently strong runner. Since I started training with Dan, I have run a number of races, including two marathons. The second marathon I PR’ed by over 21 minutes, and, as a result, qualified for the Boston marathon. Never did I think that I would say that after my first 5k. I attribute my success to Dan and look forward to training with him in the future."
